Building for ourselves is the cheapest research there is.
We hit the problems first
Payment webhooks, rate limits, the awkward bit of an API that the documentation glosses over. We have already paid for those mistakes on our own time.
We run what we sell
We raise our own invoices, track our own deadlines and answer our own security questionnaires with these. Things that only work in a demo do not survive that.
It keeps the estimates honest
When we quote a store page, a leaderboard or a payment flow, it is because we have shipped one, not because it sounds like a fortnight.
